Five reasons Barack Obama should not be re-elected as President!

Janet Porter is a former Romney critic who now endorses Governor Romney for President.  She gives some very compelling reasons for her conversion.  In the past few weeks I have met several concerned voters who are switching sides this election season.  The other day I was working at our local Romney Victory Headquarters and a woman came in and asked for a Voter Registration application.  She is 51 years old and has never voted before but, like many other concerned citizens, feels this election is too important to be passive.  I am so proud of those who are putting their country before their parties and realizing the financial and security dangers we face.

Ms. Porter discusses the Obama administration’s record on life, marriage, Israel, freedom and most importantly, America:

Please do your part in getting out the word and the vote – your country and freedom depends on it!

CNN’s Don Lemon Skewers Wasserman Schultz on DNC’s ‘Accidental’ Omission of God and Jerusalem

The queen of lies has a tough time trying to wiggle out of CNN’s Don Lemon’s continued pressure to answer questions about her outright lies regarding The Examiner’s Phillip Klein interview and the DNC’s ‘accidental’ omission of God and Jerusalem from their platform.

When her candor was questioned, DWS answered “I have never been accused of being anything less than candid.”  That may be true Debbie, but you HAVE been accused of being less than truthful!

The Democrats must be soooooo proud of DWS and their God-booing abortionfest.  The Republicans had Clint Eastwood and an empty chair, the Democrats had Sandra Fluke and an empty head.  Yeah, I’d be proud of that record too Debbie!

If their motto is ‘FORWARD’, why are Dems walking so much back?!?

Now that all the excitement and hoopla have died down following the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, I have been trying to understand why the Democrats have spent so much time walking back recent comments and actions.  Isn’t their motto ‘FORWARD’?

Let’s take Obama’s remarks in Roanoke, VA in which he proclaimed that if you were successful in life “You didn’t do that on your own” and “You didn’t build that”.  Although the MSM and team Obama have consistently refuted his comments and claimed they were ‘taken out of context’, he is on record saying exactly that!

Then we had the DNC poster child, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was caught in a big lie by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.  After DWS accused the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein of taking her out of context, Klein released the audio proving her a liar.  Here is her interview with Anderson Cooper.

This was followed by the DNC’s sudden change of Thursday night’s venue from the Bank of America Stadium (seating 70,000) to the Time Warner Cable Arena (seating 20,000). The official reason was a prediction of possible severe weather. However, according to Charlotte’s WCNC TV Chief Meteorologist, Brad Panovich, the chance of rain was only 20% and there was no prediction of severe weather. Many wonder if the change of venue was more about ’empty chairs’ and less about the weather.

And who didn’t love the supposedly heartfelt speech by  ‘Steelworker’, David Foster, who told the story of how he and 750 steelworkers lost their jobs when the Bain-controlled company GST steel filed for bankruptcy in the early 1990s.  Funny thing, Foster never worked for GST!  According to ABC News, “David Foster was never an employee of GST Steel’s Kansas City plant. He was employed by the United Steelworkers of America as their regional union director to represent GST Steel.”  BUSTED!!!

Finally, we have the DNC’s removal of ‘God’ and ‘Jerusalem’ from their platform.  Following criticism and pressure from conservatives, the DNC hastily moved to add them.  Following three votes (which in the opinion of many did NOT meet the 2/3 majority requirement) and multiple ‘boos’, God and Jerusalem were reinstated.  I wonder just how prophetic the following scenario was – the majority of attendees ‘denied’ God three times……

In spite of a slate of young Hollywood stars and abortion supporters, the D ‘n C appeared to be more of a convention of contradiction than conviction. They seem to be perfecting the ‘Moonwalk’ – even though they are supposed to be moving FORWARD!

Under Pressure and Amidst Boos, DNC adds God and Jerusalem to their Platform!

Wow, talk about caving under pressure!  The Democrats are walking back their actions to remove Jerusalem and God from their platform.  Why are they always walking things back – I thought their motto was ‘Forward’?!?

Amendment 1

Page 32, Line 48:  We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make to most of their God-given potential.

Amendment 2

Page 63, Line 26:  Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel.  The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.

Amidst boos and multiple votes, the DNC have now added Jerusalem and God to their platform and, although they claim it was by a 2/3 vote as required, it didn’t sound that way to me.  Listen and you be the judge:

It sounds like our Arab and atheist friends were booing the changes.  What does that say about the Party?

Democrats move Obama’s big speech from 74,000-seater outdoor stadium to 20,000-seater indoor arena

UPDATE – DNC changed venue to indoor arena today…..afraid of ’empty chairs’?

By Toby Harnden via Daily Mail

Democrats  are poised to avoid the danger of President Barack Obama accepting his party’s  nomination before a partially-empty stadium by shifting his speech to an indoor  arena and citing ‘severe weather’.

The  Obama campaign have been working desperately to ensure that the 74,000-seater  Bank of America stadium in Charlotte would be filled.

Buses for students from across North Carolina and even members of black churches in  neighboring South Carolina have been arranged.

Footage  of rows of empty seats at the stadium, home  of the Carolina Panthers, as Obama speaks on  Thursday night would be politically disastrous – an enduring image of the  contrast between his campaign of ‘hope’ and ‘change’ in 2008 and his dour,  negative struggle for re-election in 2012.

Now,  it looks like the weather has come to the President’s rescue.

As  officials prepare to open the Democratic convention this afternoon, there are  strong indications that the speech will be moved to Time Warner Cable Arena,  which has a capacity of just over 20,000.

Speaking  at a background briefing for the press, a Democratic official said that the  speech would be given in the stadium ‘rain or shine’ before quickly adding a  major caveat.

‘We  do have a contingency plan, though, for lightning or other severe weather,’ he  said. ‘We don’t want to put anyone in harm’s way so that’s really what we’re  looking for, not if it’s going to rain but if it’s going to be really bad.

‘The  reason that we’re not releasing the details on what a move to the arena would  mean until that decision is made we don’t want a lot of conflicting information  out there.

‘But  once that decision is made – if the decision is made – to move, we will make  sure all of the details and we want to make sure all of our supporters know  exactly what is happening if it changes.’

Another  official said that the use of the stadium was being reviewed ‘on an ongoing  basis and we’ll keep you informed on any decision’.

Democratic convention sources have indicated that the  ‘contingency plan’ is at an advanced stage and that a move to the stadium  appears certain.

The  current Weather Underground forecast for Charlotte on Thursday is: ‘Partly  cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm and a chance of rain. High of 93F with a  heat index of 99F. Winds from the SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain  30%.’

Democratic  convention sources have indicated that the ‘contingency plan’ is at an advanced  stage and that a move to the stadium appears certain.

‘It looks like a done deal to me,’ said one convention worker. ‘The decision’s  apparently been taken and it’s just a matter of spinning it as being forced on us by the weather.’

Convention  delegates, party volunteers and Democratic officials gathered in Charlotte would  make up about one-third of a crowd in the Bank of America stadium, which  officials have said would be 65,000 people.

In  2008, when Obama fever was at its height, the then US Senator had no  trouble  filling an 84,000-seater outside stadium in Denver, Colorado. But voter  enthusiasm has waned this time around.

Obama’s  crowds in 2008 were far bigger than in recent months. His largest audience has  been 14,000 at a campaign kick-off rally at Ohio State University in Columbus,  Ohio in May.

Some 13,000 people were at Obama’s rally at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado on Sunday.

Obama (Narcissist in Chief) will have 16 foot Sand Sculpture of Self at DNC!

Is there no limit to this man’s vanity and arrogance?  Forget the giant Greek columns – this year’s Democratic National Convention will feature a giant 16-foot sand sculpture, made from 15+ tons of sand, in honor of our narcissistic man-child President.  I thought the self-serving picture of him staring at the moon when Neil Armstrong passed away was about as low as one could go, but I was wrong.  Contrast the humility of Mitt Romney to the arrogance of Barack Obama and you will get a taste of the differences between the two parties.  The liberals flaunt, the conservatives do!

Ex-Dem and Obama Backer Artur Davis Wows the Convention – And is at the RIGHT One This Time!

Artur Davis, an ex-Democrat and Obama backer, wows the crowd at the Republican National Convention.  A former Democratic Congressman from Alabama and now living in Virginia, Davis admitted he ‘got it wrong’ in 2008 and said we ‘have a country we need to turn around’!

He has blasted Obama for gutting the Welfare Reform Bill, but please don’t tell Chrissy Hissy Matthews – he will call Davis a racist!
