‘I am JUST a Blogger’ – Michelle Malkin responds to Juan Williams Slapdown!

Don’t you just love the way the elite liberal media love putting down anyone and everyone who differ with their ideology?  ‘Fox News isn’t journalism’, ‘Andrew Breitbart does hit pieces’ and ‘Michele Malkin is JUST a blogger on the blogosphere’.  They attack reputable journalists and Fox News contributors but hold in high regard the likes of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz.  And let us not forget their previously esteemed (and now shamed) colleague, Dan Rather, who produced falsified documents to smear President George W. Bush.

From Erica Ritz via The Blaze:

Following her tense segment on Hannity with Juan Williams this week, where she was insulted as just a “blogger on the blogosphere” and “not a real journalist,“ Michelle Malkin is firing back at the ”snotty condescension from liberal elite journalists” like Williams.

At the “Right Online” convention this weekend, Malkin began her speech, “My name is Michelle Malkin and I am just a blogger,” to roars of applause.

She continued: “You’re blogging in your spare time when these ‘real reporters’ can‘t do their jobs when they’re on the clock!  ‘Just a blogger…’  I want it on a t-shirt.”

Watch her entire speech below, via Right Online:

A few quotes from the speech include:

“Journalism is not something you are, it’s something you do.

“There are real reporters who won‘t even say the name ’Brett Kimberlin’ out of fear…The kind of harassment that I’ve gone through over the past twenty years pales in comparison to what these individuals bloggers [have gone through]…and we owe them so much for standing up, for telling the truth.  Thank them, get their backs.”

“A lot of progressives…always ask me, ‘Why are you so mad?’  Why the hell shouldn’t I be mad?  You’re trying to flush our country down the toilet!  I‘m not going to tell you that you’re a nice person.  And I think we need more people in Washington…not to concede that these people are ‘nice’ people.”

“Once you un-mask the Occupy movement, the next step is taking the future generation of wealth-creators and job-creators in this country and immunizing them against the progressive virus.  So we can‘t wait until they’re in college…”

“We fight for our freedom, for our faith, and for our families, and that’s what distinguishes us from these miserable enemies…You know, if I had to be the crusader and a cheerleader for a culture of dependency and entitlement, and coercion, and a massive welfare state that crushed religious liberty, and individual liberty, and the free market, and innovation– I’d be pretty darn miserable, too.”

The Party of Fraud at work in Wisconsin

By Judson Phillips via Tea Party Nation

English: Scott Walker, 45th Governor of WisconsinThe polls have not even closed in Wisconsin, yet the Party of Fraud is already out trying to steal the election, one way or another.

What are they doing?

From Wispolitics.com:

With only about four hours into the Election Day voting, members of the Milwaukee Democratic Party claim that calls are going out to voters telling them if they’d signed the recall, they didn’t need to vote today.

Milwaukee County Dem Chair Sachin Chheda said that Walker supporters can’t get through the day without “cheating.”

“This latest lowlife sleaze comes on the heels of countless reports from around the state of various Republican dirty tricks on behalf of Walker,” Chheda said in a statement. “For instance, reports surfaced last weekend that Walker supporters are paying homeowners to post Walker signs on their lawns.”

A state GOP source dismissed the claims, saying it was expected from Dems who have made voter suppression claims part of their playbook.

“That’s just what they do, they’re simply setting the stage for a close election,” the source said. “The story doesn’t exist until they provide evidence.”

While on its face, this is one of the stupidest things coming from a Party that regularly manages to produce some really incredibly stupid statements; there is something here.

No, the Republicans are not trying to steal this election.  They are winning this election.  Scott Walker will pull in over 50% of the vote in this election.

The purpose of this is to create the meme, much as they did in 2000, that the election was stolen.

If Walker and the GOP win, it breaks the back of the unions and the far left.  Their only recourse is to claim the election was stolen.  Much as crazy liberals still believe George W. Bush stole the 2000 election, this is the legacy the left wants to leave here.

The most disturbing part of this story is the attitude of the left.  Elections no longer matter to them.  They cannot accept the verdict of the voters.  Either the election must be relitigated until the left wins or it must be totally tainted.

Liberals no longer accept the will of the people and move on to the next election.  This bodes very badly for the future of democracy in America.

The simple truth is Democrats no longer believe in the validity of elections.  Elections for them are simply a tool to gain power.  They are not the voice by which the people speak.

To say this is dangerous is a major understatement.

It is this type of attitude that breeds tyrannies.   We must not only defeat but also totally destroy this attitude if our Republic is to survive.

“Failed” Policies? (“Forward” looking President blaming Bush again!)

By Judson Phillips via Tea Party Nation

This is beyond rich.  Barack Obama began his reelection campaign today by blasting the “failed” policies of George W. Bush.

Does he really want to make this campaign about blaming Bush?

From The Hill:

In order to move “forward,” the Obama campaign reached backward on Saturday, trying to rekindle the magic of the 2008 campaign.

For the second time on Saturday, during his second official campaign rally, President Obama sought to push a new campaign slogan “Forward,” telling those gathered at Virginia Commonwealth University that the country can’t afford to elect Mitt Romney and move backward to the Bush administration’s “failed” policies.

“Virginia, we’ve gotta move forward to the future you imagined in 2008,” Obama said, standing near a large banner that read “Forward,” before a crowd of 8,000 people, who held signs saying “Not Back” in a packed gymnasium. “Virginia, I’m here to say, we were there, we remember and we’re not going back.”

The reelection campaign aimed to remind voters about the winning campaign in 2008.

Like he did at the Columbus, Ohio, rally earlier in the day, Obama reminded voters that he still believes in “hope and change.”

Obama told the crowd that when people ask what this campaign is about, “You tell them it’s still about hope. You tell them it’s still about change.”

The president also aimed to land some direct hits on his likely opponent Mitt Romney — on everything from foreign policy to the way he would handle the economy — something he had largely avoided until Saturday.

Obama said the U.S. cannot afford to “refight the battles” on health care, economic reform and women’s rights.

The U.S. will spend “the next four years going backward” on issues of abortion rights and birth control if Romney is elected in November, according to the president. “We are not turning back the clock, we are going forward,” Obama said to thunderous applause.

Okay, do we want to go back to the way things were?

In 2006, unemployment was 4.6%.  The economy had grown jobs for 52 consecutive months.  Gas was around $2 a gallon.

Today, the unbelievable official unemployment rate is 8.1%.  The only way you get that is by removing the discouraged workers who are no longer seeking jobs.  Today only 64% of Americans are in the work force.  At least 9 million jobs have disappeared since the Democrats took over.

Let’s see.  On one hand we have the Great Obama Depression and the other hand we had the Bush prosperity.

Yes, I think I do want to go back.  Quickly!

The Rise of the Black Klan

By Jeffrey T. Kuhner via The Washington Times

Black supremacy is on the march. It is a poison that is spreading across our  society, meeting little to no resistance. This must change. Otherwise, America  will confront the real prospect of racial conflict.

The New Black  Panthers are the tip of the spear. They champion black supremacy, hatred of  whites, and militant Islam. They are the black version of the Ku Klux Klan — bigoted thugs who practice vigilantism and mob rule. They placed a $10,000  bounty for the capture of George Zimmerman — “dead or alive” — for the killing  of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old black teenager. Their actions threaten the rule  of law. Placing bounties on people’s heads is an invitation to lawlessness and  murder. It has no place in a civilized society.

Recently, on their radio  show. the New Black Panthers called for a race war. In an April 6 broadcast,  Chawn Kweli, the party’s national spokesman, said that “true revolution means  some bloodshed.” In particular, he championed the racial cleansing of American  whites.

“And there are those who wish they could stand in this hour, to  see the destruction of the devil’s world and the devil’s society …” Mr. Kweli  said. “I’m talking about that blond-haired, blue-eyed, sometimes brown-eyed  Caucasian walking around with a mind-set, a demonistic mind-set, and a nature to  do evil and brutality.”

On that same broadcast, the Panthers’ chief of  staff, Michelle Williams, demanded that blood be spilled for Trayvon’s shooting. “Let me tell you, the things that’s about to happen, to these honkeys, these  crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these —- people,” she said in an  interview. “It has been long overdue.”

Mr. Kweli and Ms. Williams were  inciting violence and a race riot. Yet, Attorney General Eric Holder refuses to  file charges against the New Black Panthers. This is the same Mr. Holder who  dropped the case against members of the Black Panthers for their flagrant  intimidation of voters at a Philadelphia poll in the 2008 election. He has told  staffers at the Justice Department that he will not prosecute black civil rights  abuses perpetrated on white victims. Under his leadership, justice is not blind;  rather, it is viewed through a racialist lens.

It is not just,  however, the New Black Panthers. The sickness of ideological racialism even  reaches the White House. For more than 20 years, President Obama attended the  church of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The pastor champions black liberation  theology. It fuses black nationalism with revolutionary socialism. Mr. Wright  baptized Mr. Obama’s daughters and presided over his marriage to Michelle. He  was Mr. Obama’s long-time spiritual adviser.

Recently, Mr. Wright was  back in the news. At a revival meeting in Charleston, W.Va., the pastor railed  against whites. He claimed that Jesus Christ, who was “not European,” was  crucified by the “European” — meaning white — Roman Governor Pontius Pilate. Mr.  Wright also attacked America’s supposed racist power structure, saying that it  was based on capitalist greed and black oppression.

“There are people in  power right now who have opinions about you based on their privilege of skin  color,” he said.

For Mr. Wright, the primary engine of history is race — especially, the imperialism of white supremacy. “The ignorance and arrogance of  white supremacy have the movers and shapers of world policy living in a  different world from people of color all together,” he raged. “And the sooner  you realize that the better off you’re gonna be.” His solution is what he calls “restorative justice and theology” — the redistribution of wealth from the upper  and middle classes to the poor.

Mr. Wright is simply a more polished  version of the New Black Panthers. He doesn’t call for blood on the streets. He  doesn’t walk around in military fatigues and jackboots wielding a club. But his  message is the same: Blame whitey. It is virulent racism masquerading as social  justice.

If George W. Bush had spent 20 years in the church of a white  supremacist, he never would have come close to winning the Republican nomination — never mind the presidency. Conservatives would have rightly excoriated him.  The liberal media would have driven him out of Washington. Yet, when it comes to  Mr. Obama, the press corps has been largely silent. The reason is simple and  pernicious: When it comes to race, there is a blatant double standard. White  racism is condemned; black racism is excused.

This racial hypocrisy  permeates American society. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan — all  are race-baiters and grievance-mongers who peddle a form of black nationalism.  Instead of being ostracized, they are embraced and their behavior is  rationalized by the liberal establishment. The N-word is routinely used by black  rappers and musicians. It can never be uttered, however, by whites.  Black-on-white crime is largely ignored by the media. White-on-black crime is  turned into a national tragedy — even when the alleged perpetrator is Hispanic,  such as Mr. Zimmerman.

Institutionalized discrimination against whites — affirmative action, racial quotas, and university admissions policies — has  become a permanent feature of life.
Liberals are playing with fire.  Multiethnic states — the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia — were torn  apart by nationalist passions. Other major countries, including China, France,  Britain, Spain, Canada and Nigeria, are under tremendous internal strain due to  resurgent tribalism. America is no exception. The danger of black revanchism is  that, if it remains unchecked, it may trigger a counterreaction among whites.  For every Farrakhan there could be a David Duke. The New Black Panthers would  then get what they want: a race war. And that battle will not end well — for  anybody, black or  white.

US Secret Service Says No Anti-Obama Rallies Allowed!

By Sher Zieve via Canada Free Press

Over the weekend I received an email from my local TEA Party Director that Barack Hussein Obama would fly into Carlsbad, NM airport on Wednesday 21 March, in order to “make an appearance at the South Eastern NM oilfields.”  However, apparently after hearing that an immediate anti-Obama rally had been planned, Obama and his entourage changed the landing location to Roswell, NM… a city 77 miles from Carlsbad.

Note: Interesting as, despite the fear and trepidation Obama is trying valiantly to instill into the American people, his own panic seems to be showing.

When the US Secret Service discovered that the enterprising group of our Southeast New Mexico Patriots had, also, switched their plans and would drive to Roswell to engage in peaceful and Constitutionally allowed dissent against the Obama policies of the destruction of the United States of America, the SS began to put their respective feet down.  First, the SS made a strong request that the anti-Obama rally not occur…at all.  When the TEA Party members advised them that they still planned to do so, it was announced that the main road (Earl Cummings Loop) into and out of the Roswell airport would be closed.

In other words, ONLY the planned Obama sycophants, adherents and Adoration Groups will be allowed in…all others no longer have any free speech.

Note:  Considering Obama’s recent “Executive Order—National Defense Resources Preparedness,” which was changed and vastly expanded to allow him to seize ALL US resources—including those of private citizens—this latest shut down of free speech shouldn’t come as a real surprise.

Question: Can you imagine what would have happened if President G.W. Bush had pulled something like this?

I spoke with one of the founders of the Chavez County (NM) TEA Party, Bob Mitzel, who appropriately asked:  “Is the President afraid of the American people or is he just afraid of the truth?”  Excellent question, Bob.

If anyone is in the Roswell, NM area on Wednesday 21 March at 3:00 p.m. mt. (or can plan to be there),  and would like to join the protest, it is now being held at The New Mexico Youth Challenge Academy-131 Earl Cummings Loop (Roswell, NM).  Isn’t it time to end Obama’s decimation of our Bill of Rights and Reign of Terror?  If not now…when?

Supreme Court upholds voter ID law

From the Associated Press via MSNBC (4/28/08)

English: The United States Supreme Court, the ...

The Supreme Court ruled that states can require voters to produce photo identification without violating their constitutional rights, validating Republican-inspired voter ID laws.

In a splintered 6-3 ruling, the court upheld Indiana’s strict photo ID requirement, which Democrats and civil rights groups said would deter poor, older and minority voters from casting ballots. Its backers said it was needed to prevent fraud.

It was the most important voting rights case since the Bush v. Gore dispute that sealed the 2000 election for George W. Bush. But the voter ID ruling lacked the conservative-liberal split that marked the 2000 case.

The law “is amply justified by the valid interest in protecting ‘the integrity and reliability of the electoral process,'” Justice John Paul Stevens said in an opinion that was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Anthony Kennedy. Stevens was a dissenter in Bush v. Gore in 2000.

Justices Samuel Alito, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas also agreed with the outcome, but wrote separately.

Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and David Souter dissented, just as they did in 2000.

‘Extremely disappointed’ More than 20 states require some form of identification at the polls. Courts have upheld voter ID laws in Arizona, Georgia and Michigan, but struck down Missouri’s. Monday’s decision comes a week before Indiana’s presidential primary.

The decision also could spur efforts to pass similar laws in other states.

Ken Falk, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, said he hadn’t reviewed the decision, but he was “extremely disappointed” by it. Falk has said voter ID laws inhibit voting, and a person’s right to vote “is the most important right.” The ACLU brought the case on behalf of Indiana voters.

The case concerned a state law, passed in 2005, that was backed by Republicans as a way to deter voter fraud. Democrats and civil rights groups opposed the law as unconstitutional and called it a thinly veiled effort to discourage elderly, poor and minority voters — those most likely to lack proper ID and who tend to vote for Democrats.

There is little history in Indiana of either in-person voter fraud — of the sort the law was designed to thwart — or voters being inconvenienced by the law’s requirements. For the overwhelming majority of voters, an Indiana driver license serves as the identification.

Burden ’eminently reasonable’ “We cannot conclude that the statute imposes ‘excessively burdensome requirements’ on any class of voters,” Stevens said.

Stevens’ opinion suggests that the outcome could be different in a state where voters could provide evidence that their rights had been impaired.

But in dissent, Souter said Indiana’s voter ID law “threatens to impose nontrivial burdens on the voting rights of tens of thousands of the state’s citizens.”

Scalia, favoring a broader ruling in defense of voter ID laws, said, “The universally applicable requirements of Indiana’s voter-identification law are eminently reasonable. The burden of acquiring, possessing and showing a free photo identification is simply not severe, because it does not ‘even represent a significant increase over the usual burdens of voting.'”

Stevens said the partisan divide in Indiana, as well as elsewhere, was noteworthy. But he said that preventing fraud and inspiring voter confidence were legitimate goals of the law, regardless of who backed or opposed it.

Indiana provides IDs free of charge to the poor and allows voters who lack photo ID to cast a provisional ballot and then show up within 10 days at their county courthouse to produce identification or otherwise attest to their identity.

Stevens said these provisions also help reduce the burden on people who lack driver licenses.

Kasey’s Note:  If the Supreme Court upheld voter ID laws in 2008, I am  amazed that the Justice Department would try to block South Carolina’s Voter ID law.  Shouldn’t they be going after the REAL issues – like Fast and Furious, Black Panther Intimidation, Medicare Fraud, Illegal Immigration, Obama’s eligibility, etc.?!?  I also wonder why more states aren’t requiring voter IDs……maybe to help Obama win?

Nero in the White House

By Mychal Massie via Canada Free Press (8/19/2011)

Three significant historical events have been eclipsed by Obama:

  1. 1. Jimmy Carter will no longer be looked upon as the worst president in American history;
  2. 2. Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton will no longer be recognized as the greatest liars in presidential history;

3. Clinton’s stain on Monica’s dress, and what that did to the White House in general and the office of the president specifically, will forever pale in comparison to the stain and stench of Obama.

I need not spend much time on the failure of Obama as president. His tenure has been a failure on every measurable level. So much so, in fact, that some of the staunchest, most respected liberal Democrats and Democratic supporters have not only openly criticized him – some even more harshly than this essayist – but they have called for him to step down.

Richard Nixon’s words “I am not a crook,” punctuated with his involvement in Watergate, and Bill Clinton’s finger-wagging as he told one of the most pathetic lies in presidential history, in the aftermath of Obama, will be viewed as mere prevarications.

Mr. Nixon and Clinton lied to save their backsides. Although, I would argue there are no plausible explanations for doing what they did, I could entertain arguments pursuant to understanding their rationales for lying. But in the case of Obama, he lies because he is a liar. He doesn’t only lie to cover his misdeeds – he lies to get his way. He lies to belittle others and to make himself look presentable at their expense. He lies about his faith, his associations, his mother, his father and his wife. He lies and bullies to keep his background secret. His lying is congenital and compounded by socio-psychological factors of his life.

Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is un-equaled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood.

As the stock markets were crashing, taking with them the remaining life savings of untold tens of thousands, Obama was hosting his own birthday celebration, which was an event of epicurean splendidness. The shamelessness of the event was that it was not a state dinner to welcome foreign dignitaries, nor was it to honor an American accomplishment – it was to honor the Pharaoh, Barack Hussein Obama. The event’s sole purpose was for the Pharaoh to have his loyal subjects swill wine, indulge in gluttony and behavior unfit to take place on the property of taxpayers, as they suffer. It was of a magnitude comparable to that of Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski’s $2 million birthday extravaganza for its pure lack of respect for the people.

Permit me to digress momentarily. The U.S. Capitol and the White House were built with the intent of bringing awe and respect to America and her people. They were also built with the intent of being the greatest of equalizers. I can tell you, having personally been to both, there is a moment of awe and humility associated with being in the presence of the history of those buildings. They are to be honored and inscribed into our national psyche, not treated as a Saturday night house party at Chicago’s Cabrini-Green.

The people of America own that home Obama and his wife continue to debase with their pan-ghetto behavior. It is clear that Obama and family view themselves as royalty, but they’re not. They are employees of “we the people,” who are suffering because of his failed policies. What message does this behavior send to those who today are suffering as never before?

What message does it send to all Americans who are struggling? Has anyone stopped to think what the stock market downturn forebodes for those 80 million baby boomers who will be retiring in the next period of years? Is there a snowball’s chance in the Sahara that every news program on the air would applaud this behavior if it were George W. Bush? To that point, do you remember the media thrashing Bush took for having a barbecue at the White House?

Like Nero – who was only slightly less debaucherous than Caligula – with wine on his lips Obama treated “we the people” the way Caligula treated those over whom he lorded.

Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.
